• Contact Cheatham County Animal Control to report your lost pet

• If your pet is microchipped, contact the microchip company immediately

• Post on all relevant social media pages, and monitor closely

• ​Fill out a lost pet form on petharbor.com

• Hang signs in the area, in mailboxes and around the neighborhood as so many do not use social media​

• For cats, set out their litter box

• Lay out bedding and your unwashed clothes

• Check outbuildings and crawl spaces

• Walk neighborhood with smelly food, search at night with flashlight and shake food bag​​​
